TARGET

TARGET

Target is Australia’s largest mid-priced department store with over 300 stores nationally.

Cloud9 was engaged to perform a full review of the existing e- commerce platform (http://www.target.com.au) due to the changing business landscape and age of the platform. Our role was to assess various options in the market, and recommended a suitable platform for Target’s growing needs in the digital space over the next 5 years.

THE CHALLENGE

  • Due to tightening financial conditions, commercials rated high on the evaluation criteria. We had to re-balance commercial constraints with desired functionality, value and long term vision

  • Gaining a balance of requirements across the organisation, particularly between Security and Digital teams

THE SOLUTION

Cloud9 worked with Target to:

  • Facilitate workshops with stakeholders

  • Elicit business and technical requirements with stakeholders and document them

  • Engage and manage suppliers

  • Consolidate, document and analyse options from the market

  • Put forward recommendations to support commercials, business drivers and vision for the organisation.
